Winter in Paris is beautiful in many ways: some people wander around the markets with mulled wine, some dream of celebrating New Year’s Eve with a view of the Eiffel Tower, and others buy tickets to Disneyland to escape into a fairy tale.
Please note: tickets have not been sold at the park entrance since 2021.
1-day ticket to Disneyland® ParisAt Disneyland Paris, Christmas begins in November — before you even have time to get your winter coat out. While Paris is still wavering between golden leaves and Christmas shop windows, garlands are already sparkling, toy soldiers are marching, and the aromas of cinnamon and vanilla waft through the air. The famous holiday parade, special shows, and evenings with fireworks — all of this unfolds as if at the wave of a fairy godmother’s wand.
In December, the park goes into full swing, and it might be worth checking your Christmas schedule in Paris itself. And if you just want to relax at the end of the year, let the Christmas trees, tinsel, and Mickey Mouse take care of it.
The festive New Year’s programme at the amusement park begins immediately after Halloween. From 8 November 2025 to 6 January 2026, Christmas officially reigns at Disneyland Paris.

Main events and entertainment at Disneyland
Mickey’s Parade – the main procession of the holiday! It features 5 bright platforms, 90 artists, Mickey, Minnie, and even Santa Claus. Everyone is dressed in glitter, with bells, and accompanied by lively music. It takes place twice a day, and yes, at the end there is snow on Main Street.
During the New Year’s programme, the parade takes place every day at Disneyland.
Santa Claus, or Père Noël in French, visits Disneyland every year until 25 December. He opens his festive ‘office’ in the very centre of the park. He has a cosy Christmas corner where you can take a photo with your whole family.
From 15 November, Paris Disneyland begins its festive meet-and-greets with characters – and it’s not just a matter of ‘walking by and waving your hand.’ You can expect real scenes, photo zones, and the moment when Mickey waves just to you (and you to him, of course).
- In Town Square, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and other classic characters are throwing a Christmas party. Sometimes with dancing, sometimes with kisses on the nose. The atmosphere is like a party with old friends, only everyone is wearing hats with pom-poms
- At Castle Courtyard, the princesses make their appearance! Belle, Cinderella, Tiana, sometimes even two Rapunzels – don’t ask how they share the stage. Everything is solemn, with curtsies and perfect dresses
- Behind Sleeping Beauty’s castle, Aurora herself and Prince Philip welcome guests. It’s the most magical place for the most magical couple and a great backdrop for a souvenir photo or a marriage proposal – who knows, maybe?
On stage in Discoveryland, a lively festive disco is taking place. Mickey, Minnie, and their entire musical band jump out to the sound of bells and get the crowd going with Christmas hits. Don’t be afraid to sing along – it’s not karaoke, it’s teamwork!

Evening New Year’s show
During the preparation period and the holidays themselves, Paris Disneyland hosts an evening Christmas show. Laser beams are projected onto the princess’s castle, Christmas music plays, and fairy-tale characters appear – all of this fills the park with magic and brings the holiday spirit to the hearts of every visitor to Paris Disneyland. Don’t be afraid to stay for the evening programme – transport continues to run after it ends.
New Year’s Eve at Disneyland
The only event that happens at Disneyland just once during the entire season is New Year’s Eve. On 31 December, after the park closes, a separate party begins: from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m., there are shows, music, rare characters, fireworks at midnight – everything is at its peak. But a regular day ticket won’t do: you need a special ticket for the night programme. And, to be honest, staying overnight nearby is not a whim, but common sense.
Don’t wait for a miracle – make it happen yourself. Disneyland has already prepared everything: garlands are hung, characters have learned dances, snow is on the schedule, and even the Christmas market is open every day. All you have to do is choose a day, book tickets, and allow yourself a little fairy tale.
