Paris in September is rentrée!
In September, the French return to their normal routines. Cafés, shops, and pharmacies resume regular working hours. Heritage Days
In 2025, Historical and Cultural Heritage Days will take place from 19 to 21 September. During these days, many cultural and public institutions will open their doors for free visits. Most museums participate and welcome everyone free of charge. The most enriching and accessible way to experience the world’s cultural heritage is through a guided tour. Autumn Festival
Since 1972, the Paris Autumn Festival, or Festival d’automne, has marked the post-summer season of cultural events, showcasing standout works in contemporary visual arts, music, cinema, and theatre. Regular venues for the Autumn Festival include the Louvre, the Pompidou Centre, the Paris Philharmonic, the Châtelet Theatre, and the Palais de Tokyo.
